Any way to widen plastic sunglasses?

I just got a pair of expensive Von Zipper sunglasses but they are the arms are too tight around the side of my head. Anybody had widen sunglasses without breaking them?

Yea. I contacted the company and told me to have two containers one with boiling water and one with cold water. Then dip them for a few min in the hot water, take them out and widen them a bit and dip them in the cold water.

It worked like a charm!!! I mean I dip them in the boling water and it too less than 20 seconds. It was so easy.
