Learning mentor said something strange
My learning mentor sed something really strange the other day, I was in food and I’d made an extra cheese cake so I went to give it him and he sed he dunt like anyfin wiv cheese in it, so I sed ‘ so your telling me I cooked this cheese cake for nothing!’ he replied. Well were not even married ! And laughed and walked off. Now normally someone would say aww sorry, but he had to say that ..

You’re reading way too much into this… My teacher and I used to have this friendly relationship (some would call it overly friendly) relationship in high school… and occasionally we’d talk like that, it’s called friendly banter… didnt mean anything, and it didnt go anywhere… and even if I’d wanted it to at the time, I’m glad it didnt… adults shouldnt be doing anything with kids, especially kids they have authority over and who trust them…
I think you made him feel uncomfortable when you threw “I made this for nothing” in his face and he reacted to it in a way that you weren’t expecting.
Maybe you should think about how your words affect others instead of focussing just on how the words of others affect you.
