Are Amish women allowed to shave their legs?

Answer #1

No. In a true Amish community that follows the original ways ane rules, women can not shave their legs, underarms, or anywhere else on the body.

Answer #2

Usually no. They are not allowed to possess things of luxury and modern technology. And I am sure a lady razor is one of those. They aren’t allowed to cosmetics either. They are supposed to be “moderate” in all things except religious compassion. There are, of course, communities that are very strict about their rules, and there are communities that are less strict.
