Am I a good writer?

well it was intresting I think you have a gud start but in the future I think it would be best to not b so repetitive it kinda takes away from the poem. when you write a poem your telling a story and painting a picture for the reader however in your poem you kinda lost me towards the middle…then if you say “you were your own” your saying your not any more and that is fine but I juss wouldnt have put it that way and when you say “it’s possible” that means it hasnt yet so there would b no reason to destroy it. in the beginning you did a great job of capturing the reader but not giving them too much information about what the next line would be. I think you could have put more similes in it. fizz is not the best word you could have used you could have said a more discriptive word. then your title “an empty glass” dosnt fit your poem the title of a poem shud b what your poem is about your poem seems to me to be about fizzing over and who the enemy is…but what your tring to say and the subject was really good! you dont have to litsen to me im only 14 but I write poems also. if you would like to take my advice and edit it, get back at me so I can read the finishing product! it has great potential
