Legally, you must be the ‘age of majority’ or have a emancipation order from the Court..You need that education so you and your baby can have a better quality of life..also being there you have a lot of help that you would otherwise have to pay big for..it appears the wise decision would be stay, time passes fast and you know your Mom loves you..I wish all of you the very best !!

i dont know about that. but i think you should stay at home since your only going to be 16. are you going to be able to support yourself, your baby, AND still go to school?? moving out takes a lot of responsibility. its probably best if you just stay home

I’ll have to side with your mom on this one! Being 16 alone, is way too young to be on your own, let alone with a little baby. Have you got a place to stay, a way to fully support yourself and your child, a job, a way to pay all the bills, money saved for emergencies, etc., etc… Living on your own nowadays, is extremely expensive. Two years isn’t really that long. I think you and your baby, will be better off in the long run, if you stay with your mom. I’m sure she only wants the best for you and your baby.
