I need to buy some airline tickets for a family vacation. Where can I get a deal for buying airline tickets for a family? Do children under the age of 12 get a discount?

One of the places I’d recommend looking for airfare is http://farechase.yahoo.com/ or try looking at http://www.sidestep.com or perhaps http://www.expedia.com. Those are some of the most well known - Farechase & sidestep are travel search engines, which are handy, and expedia is the largest travel site out there, I think.
