Afraid of the phone...

Please help me! I am really shy and find it difficult talking on the phone to anyone (even people I know) I am almost basically afraid of it and for my 16th b.day I am going to have a sleepover with my friend but first I have got to call her and ask if she can come, using the phone! and we have not spoken to eachother in a year. I am really afraid that she wont want to be my friend anymore because she is the only friend I have, (I have difficuly making friends). And if someone answers I wont even know what to say to either her mom or beck.

Please help me!

same feeling here I get so nervous talking on the phone I cant even call my best friend cause in my head its what if her parents answer what do I say same as in friends online its easy but face 2 faceor meeting someone I panic juss do what I do write down what your going to say and go over it then call
