Advice on Eyeliner

I get the non smudge, waterproof eyeliner yet it still somehow smudges on my eyelid. I was wondering if anyone knows any tricks to help, or maybe a brand of makeup I havent tried. I think I heard about using concealer first on your lids then the eyeliner and that was supposed to help it stick, but I can’t remember. Advice would be appreciated! :)

well I havnt heard about the concealer thing, I use liquid eyeliner.. it doesnt smudge at all, but it takes a while to learn how to put it on,

yes, usually you’re supposed to put concealer on your eyelids so that the eyeliner will stay put. they actually have make-up that specifically applies to that. a good brand of concealer-type stuff that helps set your make-up in place is called eye-canvas paint by MAC. you put it on your lids and eye area and it will help keep any make-up you apply stay put. as for eyeliner, I only use liquid. you should really try it, I personally think it’s much better than pencil liner. it takes a lot of practice to get used to it though, so don’t get discouraged if you screw up the first few times you try it :]

Its true about the whole concealer, it does help a lot. I learned that on the Tyra Banks show. And just like ‘tinatodder4’ said… liquid eyeliner is much better, I just started using it not long ago. Try it out, just do it slowly.

Avon eye liner is the best as far as going on smooth but if it gets even a little wet, it all disappears!

Thanks everyone. All I use is liquid eyeliner.. I think its almay. but I will try the concealer thing. :)
