How much do actors get paid to be on tv?

Different amount depends on how famous the actor is. Every actor has different price. In Indonesia the most that I have ever known is US $ 1000

Actors/Actresses generally get paid by the episode on tv shows. The amount varies pretty widely though. Alot of factors come into play - the network the show is airing on, the popularity of the actor/actress, the popularity of the show, the characters relevance to the show etc. Generally the more well known the person the more they get paid…and the more popular the tv show, the more money it earns, the more the actors get paid. Were talking anywhere from a couple hundred an episode to a couple hundred thousand.

Depends on the show and how many viewers they have but apparently the actors on two & a half men get paid the most money for every episode, and snooki from jersey shore gets paid $3,000 per episode aired, while the others get 1,000, just because she is the most popular characters and also it is the most watched show MTV has ever had.
