abortion & marriage

So, me and my high school sweetheart (who is not so sweet anymore) both enlisted in the army and planned on getting married and leaving this hell hole of a state Indiana together. well it all worked to plan but not even 5 months she says she doesn’t “love” me anymore, so I move out and move in with a friend. blah blah long story short she ended up being pregnant and even though we are married and I think I should have some say in it she got an abortion… will someone please tell me if there is anything I could have done to prevent it from happening I tried convincing her not to but legally what could I have done?

In indiana you have no say. Its the womans right to abort. I have actually never heard of any state forcing a woman to not get an abortion because the husband doesn’t want it. It seems she is being more selfish than anything. I know how much the army pays a married couple couple in indiana and she would have no problem at all if you enlisted and not her. But that’s just what I think.

It depends where you live. In some states, the father can be part of the decision.
