she is just yelling b/c she cares. Messed up I know. But be nice and try to understand she doesnt want her little boy to mess up his life on a girl. Sounds like you are still young-under 25- and have a lot more ahead of your life Ignore is mothers issues Listen and nod when he vents– but do not comment Just repeat what he says like: Oh I guess you feel angry at her I am sorry you feel that way–then let him talk more. He doesnt want you to solve his problems just listen to them! best thing a person can do is not get involved, just listen listen listen listen dont let it get emotional- no drama!! Shes not your mom. he doesnt need his mom and g friend in a fight on top of grades and tuition issues Its his mother, would you “tell off” your own? I would never hear my children “tell me off” lol they do but they are 5 so its different lol Be the bigger smarter calmer person and focus on a new pair of shoes or that awesome night out when you really feel like venting to your boyfriend about his mother- a good person to vent to about this is your own mom. I bet she will listen and be there for you the right way you should be there for him

thats the thing … we have talked about it but he’s all about making his mom happy and he says he’s sick of her but he doesn’t say anything to her. he’s 19 and I just find it ridiculous that he doesn’t tell her off..
