What do you think about taking my 3.5 year old to see Prince of Persia.. appropriate or inappropriate?

it’ll most likely scare them to be honest, it’s an intense movie. Seems kinda pointless, either they’ll get scared or not know whats going on most likely.

Depends on the rating….and, well, your personal choice as a parent.

If it was PG, I wouldn’t worry about it…if it’s PG-13, why is it PG-13, etc, is it for something relationship related, OR Is it that way b/c of graphic violence?

For some reason, I bias towards those that have only a small amount of violence, as the kids get it on cartoons all the time at home. (let us know if you see it how it was) :)

i was thinking the same.. that what he sees on tv is all pretty violant too.. this film is a disney film but i just looked and it’s rated pg-13 for intense sequences of violence and action… i guess i’ll wait and see if any other parents have seen it and have any opinion on the type of intensity that is… I did take him to see iron man 2 and he was fine with that =)

probably not that kind of movie, hes only 3. why not let him watch a more kiddy movie like wall.e or cloudy with a chance of meatballs for example
