How to stop wanting a child?

well…u could be feeling like this because you feel like no one is treating you right and you want someone to treat right so you feel important…try getting a pet =] itz like a child and extrememly fun…they also make you feel less alone…I don’t know what I would do w/ out my dog =]

The babysitting advice is great. I remember a teenage friend saying to me how she never felt happier than when she was cuddling a child. She did loads of babysitting and that seemed to work for her!

Well… think of being tied now and cant go anywhere with a crying baby in you hair plus all your cash is going to be going to the baby. wait until your old enough

I think your wanting a child is stemming from you want someone to love and love you back unconditionally.

like volleeit18 said, try getting a pet. Maybe a chihuahua or something that you can completely dote on.

I was like you I have wanted a baby scince I was 9 and then I got my cat saddles, and I forgot all about it till I was 14 so I went out and got myself pregnant I am only 10 weeks with twins and I am already nackered and their not even born yet lol plus I am relising all the stuff I could do before I cant anymore when their born eg/ go out when I want have a BATH when I want and no more money. I love my babies to bits already and would never think of getting rid of them but I now no what people where telling me: wait and you’ll be better off, have a life first and all the rest. I can see now that they were right. try babysitting youll be around kids but knowing you can give them back to the parents is great.

Have you tried babysitting?? I know it’s not the same at all but you can get some of the same kind of love from a child that you’re looking after especially if you watch them on a regular basis. When a child becomes used to you they will show you some of the kind of love I think you’re looking for simply because they look up to you and enjoy spending time with you.
