What do you think Pokemon would taste like?

We know that Snorlax would be on the endangered species list because Asians eat cat-like things. :P And Poochyena and Mightyena too! :O

Swinubs and and Kingsley’s and Pikachu’s shall be feasted upon the French and their cuisines.

And of course, the rare Articuno’s and Moltres will be seen as part of a wedding feast for Mexicans….

Oh my God I love this question so much. Seriously, best question I’ve seen in a long time.

I think, if Pokemon were real. There would be limits on which ones we can and can’t eat. Like we have right now in real life, you can’t catch baby fish, so you probably wouldn’t be allowed to catch Horseas, Squirtle, Todadile, Azurill/Marill etc in the water. It would probably be the case that you have to wait for a Pokemon to evolve before you can catch it to eat. Seaking, Blastoise, Feraligator, Azumarill etc. Some would be harder to catch than others eg Gyarados, Tentacool etc.

- Although, we don’t have laws on killing baby animals like lambs etc so Mareep and Flaffy are screwed.

- It would be interesting though, because the Pokemon’s defense abilities are not what we are used to. It’s easy for a farmer to lay a mouse trap, but what if your mice problem is electric mice = Pikachu and Raichu. You can’t just get a cat either because we all know what a selfish bastard Persian is and what a useless moron Meowth is. Most Pokemon don’t have much of an interest in each other unless they are commanded to fight by their trainers.

- All of that aside, though, I would imagine the majority of land Pokemon would taste like chicken. Except for Tauros, and the likes of the Nidoking/queen families. Id say they would be more beefy.

- Oh God imagine trying to chow down a Moltres.

Haha well I try to think things through… lol. Also another answer- would the likes of Charizard, Dragonite, Dragonaire, Salamence aka the dragon types, have been wiped out with our dinosaurs? It would certainly put dragon trainers like Lance and Drake (elite four) out of their careers. Having dragon type, well actually having any Pokemon around would certainly put humans down quite a few pegs on the food chain.
