have a serious convo with her about it, show her the facts by proving to her first hand about it & if that doesnt work then you have no choice but to allow her to figure it out on her own!

Sometimes, we can only offer advice, it’s up to the person that is receiving the advice to make the final decision! We as friends can only do so much to help each other out…you have done your part as a friend…now it’s up to her to do what she wants with the advice!

You cant. You can tell her how you feel. But what she does is up to her. Also, I dont believe in bad influences. Your friend doesnt have a gun to her head. She is choosing to engage in whatever ‘bad’ stuff she wants to. That’s her choice. It sucks. I know it feels horrible to see your friend changing. But it’s part of growing.

Unfortunately, the only thing you can do in this situation is speak your mind, make sure you’re heard and let her know it’s because you care that you’re coming to her. You can’t otherwise do much about it. Just leave your door open to her until she comes around again and focus on making yourself happy and healthy. Lead by example.

As a “good girl” all through growing up, I have to lay it out real for you–being “good” means often being alone and filtering through a lot of friends until you find the ones you need around you.

It can be easy to lose the focus that you and your friendships are more important than her and her friendships.
