Do some dogs eat hamsters?

I had a hamster once. Her name is Fluffy. She died a couple of months ago, and until now I just can’t get over it. Hamsters are supposed to live up to 3 years right? Fluffy died when she was just 2. I don’t think it was because of sickness, or anything health-related. I believe our dog ate her, because the d4mn dog loves to chew on anything small and hairy, like harmless little kittens just passing by. I wasn’t there when Fluff died, when I got home she was already buried, so I didn’t see the corpse. Can’t tell if she got bite marks.

Many dogs will eat/attack/chew on anything alive & smaller than them. So yes.

Answer #9

yes dogs eat hamsters

Answer #10

Wait. . I dont think she woulve eaten her then.. Cause you didnt see the corpse and she was burried right? I doubt the dog wouldve just bit into the hamster and then left it to die without eating it. If your dog ate it then it wouldnt have been buried it wouldve neen digesting in your dogs tummy. And the dog MAY have just bitten it and then decided he didnt want it anymore, but thats unlikely. So I dont think he/she ate your hamster.
