Would you call someone to talk if you weren't interested?

Okay this question is for everyone mainly the guys. would you call someone of the opposite sex on a friday nite just to talk for an hour? are you interested romantically in the people that you call?

  My point is that there is this guy at work that I have a major crush on at work and he calls me every friday but when I take the initiative to make plans he backs down.  he flirts with me at work and compliments me but hes never asked me out.  should I continue accepting his calls and pursuing him or should I just leave him alone all together?

It sounds like he does like you…but he might be a little nervous to ask you out. When you make plans and he backs out mabye thats because he wants to ask you out instead of you asking him. If you really like him than cotinue to take his calls.
