Why is it that people are so judgmental?

Asked by fau 3 months ago, 11 answers.

So people ask advice, you give it to them and they flip out. It doesn't make since.. Or other people get mad at the advice you give someone else. Do people ever grow up and except the facts people are telling them?! Or are they always going to be immature little babies and cry about everything.

Truth is, People hate hearing things they don't want to because they know it's true. They expect a answer or advice that will slove their problem not advice thats puts another prespective on the problem

Because they are so unhappy with themselves they feel the need to make others unhappy too.

They're always going to be immature little babies crying about everything.

That's part of the fun!

A lot of people ask questions that are bound to get some smart answers. Like the girls that say 'I think I'm ugly but people say I'm pretty. What do you think?' I'm amazed at the amt of people that say 'Oh, you're very pretty'. They were fishing for compliments.

I usually give them an answer that leaves them scratching their heads and saying 'What did she mean?' But you won't see me saying 'you're pretty'.

I don't candy coat things. If people ask me how they look, etc., I tell them. I'm truthful.

yeah that is true but people shouldn't put questions like am I pretty because they should know if they are pretty or not if they was as ugly as a mud fense then I could understand putiin the questions to am I ugly because they want to see how many people think thay are so yeah you know what I mean. expesselly thoughs people that look like models puttin question like am im ugly I mean come on you know your not ugly so why bother putting that stupid question up there. for instantace me I might think im ugly at some point in time but people tell me im pretty an I let it be I dont go on here an ask the same question that I just got answered for me again an get the same answer from different people but it still is the same answer so why bother asking it again. people dont make since these days asking stupid questions like that. because if you are ugly on the outside then people shouldn't be rude an tell you that you are. if you are a good hearted person then beauty dosent matter. what matters is what kind of a person you are.

People want to hear a certain thing and they dont like it when you disagree with them, e.g. should I get pregnant, I'm 15, most responses will go no, that's stupid... and they dont like hearing that...

What makes me mad is when people comment on the advice that someone gives on a question. This site is for giving advice not commenting on others advice!

INCORRECT.

Commenting on another's advice, IS giving advice. Its another way of ADVISING the thread poster, to either take heed, or ignore the advice given by another individual...

'I agree with (insert name), you should listen to them.'

or

'That's crazy! You have no idea what you're talking about.'
