For one, please don’t ever call your menstrual cycle your ‘’p-didy’’ ever again. It’s a mark of womanhood, and I think it deserves to be called it’s actual name at the very least.

Second, you aren’t missing anything. I know at your age it may be embarrassing to not be on your period, but the longer you can avoid it, the better.

Third, discharge doesn’t indicate that your period is coming. It’s something that all women get throughout the day, week, etc. Who knows when it’s coming. You say you’ve been ‘’having symptoms’’ for awhile, but there aren’t really symptoms of it at all. It shows up and then you experience symptoms. There aren’t warning signs.

As for the tampon, you can use it at any time, but you might want to get familiar with pads first. I didn’t wear a tampon until I was 16, but that’s because I didn’t like the idea of shoving something in my hole down there. It was odd to me. If you feel comfortable wearing a tampon, you’ll likely need a slim or ultra slim one to fit inside you. Then be sure to wear a pad or panty liner in case you leak.

Just be patient and that ugly red monster will rear its head in no time.
