Why are parents confusing?

My parents make no sence. When im out they want me to be at home and when im at home they want me to go do something with friends or to the movies or something. What do they really want me to do?

You should talk to them about this, and tell them you are confused. It sounds as though they are worried about you and get worried when you go out, but then when you are home- they feel bad that you are bored at home.

You could come up with a sort of schedule, that way they will know when you are out and for how long. For example- you could (depending on your age) go out on Fridays, and Saturdays with friends, then promise to do homework on Sundays.

Have a time that you will be back home by, and make sure you always stick to the rules or else they will worry and not let you go out.

Maybe they want to spend time with you, you could go to the movies with your mom/dad, and they might really like that. Also make sure you do your bit around the house, washing some dishes and keeping your room tidy can really come in handy when you want to go out. Your mom will think how helpful you have been and let you go- and chores only take half an hour!

Don’t promise to do your homework/coursework the next day! you should do it when you first get it! get it out the way and then party the nights away..

Me to! I guess they just like to moan. I’m 17 and my mother still moans even my grandparents so annoying! can’t please anyone, guess we will have to wait and see till we have kids of our own.

To do something. You know to just enjoy your teen years but also to be you know a good kid. Something like that… Kind of confusing but yeah :)
