What does it mean when someone uses a word”loosly” or says a word loosly

Answer #1

If you say something is “lossly based” on a source it is only half based, not like an extact replica.

Answer #2

Not firm or solid - as in belief, values, knowledge of, opinion, etc.

Answer #3

It means you shouldn’t read too much into it…they don’t mean for anyone to take the word sincerely.

Answer #4

It means they don’t mean a thing by it. Like if you use the phrase “I love you” loosely, it means that you don’t really mean that you would like to get married and have babies. :)
