The Host, will there be a sequel?

I just finished reading Stephenie Meyer’s “The Host” and it really had me hooked, more so than Twilight. I looked around to see if there were any possible sequels and Stephenie Meyer herself said that if there were sequels it would be a trilogy and that the second book would be called “The Soul” and the third book “The Seeker”. I just wanted to know if The Soul would definatly be comming out and if so is there like a vague time frame for its release?

First of all, The Host is an amazing book and if anyone hasn’t read it… they should. Now from what I’ve heard The Soul has already been finished but she hasn’t had it published yet. I dont know if she even is planning on publishing it any time soon, what with the New Moon and Eclipse movies being made.

there will be a sequel she said that after she has released Midnight Sun she will take a short break and then work with some sequels to The Host, which is an AMAZING book. She also has a few other projects she wants to do so we could be waiting a fair bit… Sorry but I hope this helps :) x

What was this one about. I haven’t read it because it didn’t seem very interesting, now you’re the 1st person I know of that has actually read it. Would you please contact me and give me a small synopsis of what it was about. I would appreciate

And 2 days later… I haven’t even heard of a sequel or even in the making. I’m sure that right now she is probably helping with the pre-production work. For “New Moon” which begins filming next mth. Have you tried her web-site? Every time I go on I haven’t seen anything about a release date. But, I haven’t been on in quite awhile. Sorry I couldn’t be of any more help!! )•:
