Swearing badness

Who thinks swearing is ok? Who thinks it's bad?

I think it is bad. it sounds retarded but I do swear sometimes. I think I sound dumb and very un intelligent. ( lols I suck at spelling)

Some kind of release for your feeling is useful - you hit your thumb and you need to say something! But it doesn't need to be words that hurt and offend other people, which is what swearing is.

that is a good point flossheal. that is what I meant. I didn't mean go curse at everyone you see but it is a non violent way of releasing emotion. best done in your car where no one can hear your crazy rantings

Swearing is disrespectful, and rude. If you're furious, angry, mad and upset, all the power to you. It doesn't mean you have to swear. It just make's you look like a little punk @ss b!tch.

Lol, anyway... I don't mind little swearing like Hell and Damn, but the f bomb isn''t okay. I find that I don't hang out with people that swear a lot. When I do, I find that I'm unhappy.

I think swearing around parents is very disrespectful, like you don't even care about them.

Don't get me wrong about everything I said above. I swear sometimes. It just slips out once in a while. And sometimes when I get angry, I find myself stuttering because I can't find a good word to replace the swear... The only time I swear purposefully, is online. Because I don't think that really counts as saying a swear word, and it's not as bad...

But that's my opinion! You can swear if you want, but don't hate because I don't swear!
