How to get rid of this scab on his chest?

My little cousin Moris has a huge scab on his chest and he says it hurts. Is there anything we can to get rid of it? Cream? PLEASE HELP

Don't use any cream with alcohol in it. it hurts like hell. vaseline and a bandage/giant plaster should do the trick

The only real idea I can think of is to go to Walgreens and pick up some Neosporin..its been proven to prevent infection and also speed up the healing process, other than that just tell him not to pick it.
