What do reddish rubber tree leaves mean?

OK, actually the leaves turn reddish down the middle of the leaf and then fall off. What’s wrong with my tree ????

I’m thinking it could be some sort of insect…Try your local flower shop/garden center and ask someone who works there if a pesticide might help.
