Answer #1

“Real Punk - would scare the hell out of these kids these days. The real Punkers, were tough, anti-establishment, Anarchy, Studs, Leather, Patches, Torn Clothes, a lot of Skinheads were punks as well.” mandyloo is spot on in this one as for emo, cutting (self harm) and depression (mental disorder) have nothing to do with it. feelings and emotions play no part in labels or sterotypes. a lot of people who talk about emo and call themselves emo still have no idea what the word actually means its a genre of muic and a style of dress and a fad/trend now that a lot of kids want to be a part of, usualy because there depressed about all there “problems” like there mum grounded them. and they beleive they fit in to that label, at leats for now usually when these kids grow up more, majority of them wont be emo but for now its just a bandwagon that most people no nothing about and most kids jump on

Answer #5

Real Punk - would scare the hell out of these kids these days. The real Punkers, were tough, anti-establishment, Anarchy, Studs, Leather, Patches, Torn Clothes, a lot of Skinheads were punks as well.

Emo - is the new trend. It means “emotional”. The stereotype is they all cut themselves and they are depressed, but it’s not like that. Some do and some don’t. They like neon and black, bracelets, big hair, long hair, eyeliner, tight pants, etc.
