Can I move out at 16 if we have 2 kids?

Can I move out at 16 with my boyfriend if we have two kids together in the state of florida?

Answer #1

Check with Courts as to whether that would meet a condition of ‘emancipation’

FLORIDA LAW: Age Emancipation petition allowed: “a minor age 16 or older” Fla. Stat. § 743.01; Fla. Stat. § 743.015 Age of Majority: 18

Answer #2

Two kids at 16? Wow. I am not sure about Florida laws. How old is your boyfriend? Keep in mind that even if you can legally move out, it does not necessarily mean you can legally sign a lease or anything like that.

Answer #3

Wow! umm i don’t know about legally moving out but because you are not 18 it would be hard when it came to sighning things like lease. They would ask for a co-signer and this where mom or dad would come in.
