Lawnmower trouble

What happened yesterday I started to cut my grass and the lawn mower worked fine but I started to do the rest today and it was workin fine then it cutt off I filled it with gas and it didnt work I let it sit for a while and it worked for another minute and cut off and wont start back? What happened what do I do

The fuel line may have clogged - take it off and clear it out and you should be 'cleared for takoff' !

Is it one that you have to mix the gas with oil? I have an electric one so I'm probably not much help.
