Is it fashionably wrong to wear brown shoes with black dress pants?

Answer #1

sure! keep the brown color light however - caramel or tan - but not too light (like sand or pine). Its all about the style of your pants/shoes too, and your overall look, think about your shirt/sweater color. just be sensible!

Answer #2

NO WAY honestly brown and black where not meant to be, thats a fashion absolutely NEVER

Answer #3

NOOO IT LOOKS TERIBLY WRONG SO DONT DO IT

Answer #4

kay, black basically goes with anything, expect for brown or navy blue. because it just looks like you’re an idiot that thinks that it’s the same color or whatnot. anyways, black dress pants and brown shoes? umm..no. with black pants..you HAVE to wear black shoes..or a random color if you’re trying to make a fashion statement. (I.e, bright blue, pink, yellow, green, etc.) but like, why would you be trying to make a statement with dress pants? anyways, just wear black shoes.

Answer #5

YES!! Just don’t do it. You can’t wear brown, white, or navy blue shoes with black dress pants. Only black or a color other than the ones listed above.

Answer #6

I don’t see why this is an issue. It’s a fashion rule and people might get mad at you. But I think it looks fine.

Answer #7

Brown and black /completely clash/.

You’d have to be desperately style-blind to think otherwise.

Answer #8

OMG! this is why we should have fashion police…lols brown & black dont go together! both are rite next to eachother & they are both dark colors. dark+dark=ugly Xo dark+lite=prettyC; hope I helped!

Answer #9

OMG who told you that!!!:@ that is SO fashionable this is coming from someone who gets commended on fashion every day!!

Answer #10

Brown and black don’t typically go together in that combination. The brown would stick out too much. If you are going to wear black pants, you should wear black shoes.
