I want to know how may days,weeks,or years are you in jail

my uncle just got caught stealing a shirt at a store named this is it and what kind of name is that for a store so I want to know how many days,weeks,or years would you be im jail for jaking a nice shirt at ‘THIS IS IT’ so how long is he gonna be in jail and hes girlfriends at my grandmas house and I like her as a almost aunty so I need answers and good ones too and ill give you details about it so when he stole the shirt he forgot to take off the tag so when he went pass this beeping machine then he got busted and thats all in no but me and his girlfriend didnt see so can you guys give me answers so please and thank you very much bbbyyyeee!!!

He stole a shirt from This Is It so obviously the store carries nice enough apparel for him to REEEALLY need it and not pay for it.

It depends on if it was his first offense or not.

If it was his first shoplifting offense, he’ll get a citation and go to court and probably get a fine.

If it isnt his first time he may be facing jail or may be able to negotiate community service. a lot of the decision relies on other factors like if he cooperated with store staff. It was just a shirt not a big screen tv, so I bet he just gets community service and a fine and a nice little paragraph about him in the local newspaper.

By the way, I LOVE catching shoplifters at my store :)
