How to convince my mom to get me a horse?

I have always wanted a horse and I asked my mom for one and she said if we can find the property and I did. This guy said I could keep one in his field and now I just have to convince her I will put my all into taking care of the horse. I always take care of the other animals I have and I love them. I am very responsible, but how do I convince her to let me have a horse??? Please don’t say just tell her to get you one because of the gas prices cause I already tried it and it didn’t work!

they shouldnt make you return it to the wild once horses or generally any other animal is home bound, or raised then they have really no chance of surving in the wild. they become dependant on humans for there needs and things. a horse is a big responsibility. make sure you parents know your responsible, even show them how responsible you are. horses need to live in a pretty big space full of grass, and itll need somewere to stay in worse weather and to sleep sometimes, like a stable (you could probably build or get your dad, ect to help) they do require lots of love, attention, caring, feeding, cleaning, ect make sure you, and/or your parents have the money to get one and if you do, try to get a calf, that way you can raise it and itll be pretty tame. otherwise you could always get an older horse thats of no use to anybody else…if your up to it. if you dont know were to look, maybe ask around some farms that have horses, if they get any babies maybe they could sell you one. and get there opinions on how to take care of them.

Answer #2

Do research on what it takes to raise and care for a horse. Make sure to show this to your mom. Let her see that you are taking the initiative to learn what all it takes to care for an animal that size. Maybe if she sees that you are showing some responsibility by researching what it takes to care for one then maybe she will look into getting you one.

Answer #3

I don’t see why you couldn’t raise one, but they would probably make you return it to the wild.
