How does ADHD affect a person?

so my ex boyfriend has ADHD and he’s sooo annoying. he’s a massive attention seeker and compulsively lies to get my attention. I feel like he almost cant help it though… is this because he has ADHD? or he’s just an idiot??

My son has ADHD and he’s not a compulsive liar or an attention seeker. ADHD means that the person with it has trouble focusing (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)…they are also very hyper, meaning they can’t sit still. So, when you are talking to your boyfriend does it appear like he’s listening to you but then if you ask him what you said he won’t know? His mind wanders when he’s supposed to be paying attention. Is your boyfriend always moving? Does it seem like he never sits still or is always fidgeting? That’s the hyper part. Lying and attention seeking are not symptoms of ADHD.
