How to begin to lose weight?

today I went into a takeaway restaurant to order some coffee . the waitron asked me where is your baby? I said I do not have one. then I realized they thought I was pregnant because of my size. it felt reaLLY BAD BAD BAD AND HURT INSIDE. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME TO START LOSING MY WEIGHT AS IN FROM TOMORROW OR TODAY???

  1. fist thing is first; do not set your self a tearget/limit by when you should loose all the excess weight, reason being is that if you end up indulging food that will be considered unhealthy, well youll just feel guilty and as if you’ve let your self down, so best thing to do is take it day by day.

  2. drink as much water as you can, possibly 2 literes per day.

  3. stock up on a lot of fruit and veg, the fibre in them makes you feel fuller for longer. And eat as much fruit and veg as you can

  4. use a smaller plate, this is a way of tricking the mind, you fill it up with half of it with veg, and then add whatever else you are having.

  5. stick to 3-4 small meals a day, and make sure you have your breakfast.

  6. exercise is vital if you want effective results; so vary your workouts. Do at least 30-60 minutes of exercise at least 3-4 times a week. skipping, walking/jogging, swimming and cycling are all good workouts which will work and tone all your body.

You wont gain effective results right away, it will take 2-3 weeks before you notice any results because it will take some time for your body to get used to the new diet.

  1. avoid frying food, bake or grill what you can however often you can, cut out all crisps, chocolates, fizzy drinks and sweets etc if you must have either of them have either one of them at least once a week, depriving your self completely of these things will only make you crave them more.

  2. try to have small portions and control the portion size…good luck!

What do you think is the main cause of your weight gain? Is it overeating? Do you love food? Do you have a sedentary lifestyle and need to become more active?

Your anecdote doesn’t quite sound real. “Where’s your baby??” Why would a waitress ask that question to someone who looks pregnant? It’s not like you went in there with an empty pram. Earlier you asked how to become anorexic. That’s as silly as asking how to become an alcoholic. Give your height, weight and body type if you want to be taken seriously with this question.
