How come the democratic party is ruined?

How come the Democratic Party is ruined?
What I mean is, why couldn't the Democratic Party stay in the JFK and FDR era?
We have allot of ratticle left wingers ruining the party. At least JFK and FDR cared about our countries national security and other issues. If the Democratic Party would've stayed that era, you know things would be allot better.
I would like your opinions on this if able.

While the democratic party is not what it used to be, the GOP is complete in the toilet, and is at the beck and call of their corporate donors.

All political parties move on. As you're too young to remember JFK and FDR (hang on, even I'm too young to remember them!) I wonder where you've got your idea of this golden age of the Democrats. OK they were good, but why not give Obama a chance, for example - people certainly feared JFK (a Catholic, horror of horrrors) before he became president, so let's wait and see if he ends up with the respect earned by other Democratic presidents.

Its the democrats fault. They let their party get taken over by the far-left radicals. Whereas it used to be the party of gentlemen like LBJ, and JFK, (who would be considered Republicans in today's era), it is now run by George sorros, and moveon.org.

Rickd, you MUST start getting your info from somewhere other than FIXED News, Bimpaugh, and Sean Insannity. Do you deny your party is in the pockets of huge mulitnational corporations? Even many dems are in their pockets, but the GOP does what ever is asked of them. Where are the gentlemen in the GOP? David Vitter, who after getting caught doing the exact same thing as Spitzer, gets a standing ovationfrom his fellow republican senators, IN THE SENATE CHAMBER! Or maybe Senator Larry Wide-stance Craig? Or how about Senator Mark Send-in-my-page Foley?

Yes these guys are real gentleman.
