How can you improve a grade in 10 days?!?!?!?!?!?!?

O.k I have one week to improve my D to at least a C- in history! The only reason I only have one week is b/c Monday I get off from spring break.=( Monday morning.sigh!and the 24th(Friday next week.)is when mom gets our family pool pass.(Discount that day.)I have 10 days to change it!(not counting the actual day.) Is it possible? Is it likely to work? Do you think I have a shot? Thank You so much!Be honest!

Hi,

  1. talk to your teacher, tell him/her you have the ambition to improve.
  2. Tell him/her you are disappointed with yourself and you need to do this in order to satisfy your own expectations. (Much better that telling him/her you do this because of reasons from outside I.e. your parents expect you to)
  3. ask if you can do any special homework or any research/presentation for the class in order to improve your grade.
  4. Ask your teacher for a subject and a task or make a proposal of your own. If he/she agrees, work really, really, really hard and just make it perfect. Or at least as close to perfect as it can be.

Best is to refer to any subject you have had before and pick a special element or side-field that hasn’t been worked on in class. So for example if your last subject in history class was the constitution of the USA then you could propose making a presentation ‘Excursus: the idea of democracy and where it came from; from ancient Greek to the French revolution’. Just an example.

Whatever subject you pick. You’ll have to do a lot of research and you’ll have to make handouts for your fellow students and you’ll have to design a presentation (make it with powerpoint and borrow a portable PC and a projector), you’ll have to explain the whereabouts if the incidents you work at and the concepts and ideas of the time…

The other possibility is to hand in a written homework. So you don’t have to get an appointment for your presentation.

Whatever you do will be a hell of a lot to do for just 10 days, but if you do it well then it might work.

Just don’t think you could do some lazy hafl-baked wannabe-work, polish the design and get anything for it. You should have done that in the last semester. (You know that) Now you’re actually pretty late. So either you give 5000% effort and make a bail-out sprint for the home stretch or you keep your grade D.

wish you best anyway the sheep

Peace Love Happiness Music!=D

Answer #3

LOL In my opinion I have to disagree with them. You should already know if it is possible to bring it up. You should know whether your teacher is extremely nice and willing to give you a c if you work for a week. And if he or she doesn’t thats your fault sadly. ~ just stating my opinion

Answer #4

Yeah do you know what the % is at on the D?

but you can totally do it!

I brought an F to a C once in two weeks…
If you’re taking a final exam then study like hell and if you do well, its sure to bring it up!

Answer #5

yea super easy! just ask for extra credit or turn in missing assignments. ask if you can retake tests and do super good on how assignments until the grading period ends.hope this helps!

Answer #6

It’s highly possible. Do all the extra credit you possibly can. Make up and turn in any missing assignments, if the teacher will still accept them. If you have assignments between now and then, make sure you turn them in on time, and overachieve on them, so the teacher will hopefully be compassionate and give you a high grade. Also, if there are any tests or quizzes, study the material often, and shoot for the highest grade possible.

Answer #7

make sure to turn in everything and complete it ask questions study and ask for extra credit and pay attention
