How to concentrate on my work when I'm homesick?

hi, I am doing my UG in a far away place from my native and I am not able to concentrate on my work because I always feel incomplete here where I stay and when I try to make this place to be my place,I am not able to do so. I just feel like breaking all the relationship from here and go some where very far away from everything .please suggest me some way to concentrate in my work and be more successful in every thing that I do.

You feeling are very normal. You have been disconnected from what you have grown up to know and love. It happens to everyone when they decide to leave the comfort of home. I would make a collage of all the great people anf places from back home and place it in my room near my desk or bed. I would use it as a reminder that I am making my life better so that I can help those peopl I left behind, just for awhile. They need you to be doing exactly what you aredoing so down beat your self up. Have your moment of thoughts, but don’t let it consume you whereas you can’t focus on your studies.

Also try to write letters to your friends and family and call them once a week. When you weekend minutesare free(smile)

Home will always be there no matter how far away you go. You can always visit for the rest of your life. Do what is right at this moment in your life.

Start some new hobbies that you wished to do and maybe that will start a new outlook on life for you. Wish you luck. I’m chicken so I stayed where my parents live 30 minutes away and no further. You need to meet new people.

Want to try something DIFFERENT ??? just do the following RIGHT NOW ;
