Hi sassy007,
I spent the summer in Ireland for two years. Since it is in the Northern Hemisphere like the U.S., the seasons are similar to places in the northern part of our continent.
The temperature remains relatively moderate throughout the year, never getting too hot to or too cold. Temperatures typically range between 40 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit (4 to10 Celsius) in the winter months and 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (16 to 21 Celsius) in the summer months.
However, it rains quite a lot, so be prepared.
As for having a husky in Ireland...I don't see why you can't have a husky there. You're actually not living 'down' in Ireland, you're living up- it is 53 degrees north of the equator. However, if you want to bring your own dog, it may have to be quarantined for up to 6 months before being allowed in the country.
Hope that helps.
My Great G-ma and G-pa do. Haha, but they are dead.
Sure, there's nothin' so soft and gentle as Irish rain. An believe me, you'll see some! Get the Husky a raincoat!
But you'll never see as lush a green as you'll see there, either!
hi john ere,im from ireland.ya we used to get a lot of rain, but in recent years its gone milder.the winters arent that cold and we can get realy hot summers.ull av no problem with bringing your husky, plenty of wildlife for him are her too chase.I know I had one when I was younger and he loved it ere.best of luck, look me up when your over.im heading to america for a year next year..
What does HUSKY LIVING mean
go to any weather website in Ireland for yearly temp averages. All I can say as a an Irish born person in summer ,JULY -AUGUST its not going to get over 70 too often. But the landscape is beautiful so you dont seem, too notice the colder weather too much.It never gets seriously cold either...not like you may have in Maine or Vermont for example
HUGH
