Well im a man, I've taken gymnastics before when I was maybe 14-15. I was scared to do backflips, and frontflips. Now I can do them both on the spot, and off things. I startd off with something soft that I can hit my body on, without getting hurt, but also had a spotter to spot me. Get someone you trust will hold your lower back area, but at the same time flip you over as you throw your hands and legs over your head. Its pretty simple, just believe you can do it, dont think about sticking it, think about swinging your arms, and legs over in one motion an let me know how it goes.

I want to be a gymnast but the point is I have no money and im 14. I've been a cheerleader for five years and now im starting colorguard. Meaning that im very flexible but I dont know how to do any flips and I want to learn before I even ask if I can do gymnastics. I almost have a ariel. I can do a chartwheel(two hands), one- handed cartwheel and I can run with both of them,I have all my jumps and my splits. I can go back into a bridge I just cant kick over yet. And im not the skinniest girl youll ever see.any advice on learning tumbling at home?
