First Lady's email address

Of course their staff screen them - this is true of corporate ceos, and celebs. With the sheer volume of mail and email to important people - no way could they read every one, but ones deemed important enough are forwarded upstairs, and sometimes read.

I’m guessing that it was locked on a policy of not allowing addresses of individuals. Yes, I’m sure that there is an e-mail address for both the Pres. and his First Lady, but if you actually think that they read them, you are mistaken. They have staff people handle those things and summarize the thousands of letters. A few might get through though.

We live in a relatively free society, and the eMail address of our President, and the First Lady, are official ones through the White House. These are not only not secret, but are publically available from the official White House web site. Our President encourages citizens to become interested and involved in our government, and the White House offers a whole list of cummunications links for the public, and has a sign-up page to receive eMails on various issues. Some ignorant individual blocked the question without doing their homework. I am proud to live in a nation where we have the right to contact our leaders, National, regional, and local.
