I’d start practicing my fancy handwriting if I were you, or figure out if your printer prints on card stock. You could try embossing, which is easy and fun, although the materials for that might be a little expensive, to be honest. Once you have the actual invitations typed or written out with your name, the actual invitation, the location and the date and time, you could punch holes in it and pull ribbon through them in a simple, but elegant way. http://funadvice.com/r/14us6aesneu That’s a nice one. Ribbons are a really awesome touch, I’ve always liked them. Make sure the envelopes, if you’re putting the invitations in envelopes, don’t get caught on the edge when you’re putting them in. I’ll come back later if I think of anything else. I love this kind of stuff. I steal my mom’s stamps for things like this too. And if it’s for someone you’re close to, it’s cute to put an extra little note in there that’s more personalized.

Make them like little “mortarboard” hats (you know, the flat square tasseled hats that people toss up in the air at graduations).
