Of course you can still go to heaven and not go to church. Church is an option, you don’t have to go if you can’t or dont want to. That is totally okay. God wont deny you entrance for just not going to church. =) Hope I helped.

Anyone who calls themself ‘Christian’, is a Christian. You don’t have to go to church if you don’t want to or can’t.

Answer #6

Well, CHOOSING not to go to church is a major sin

WRONG. Church is NOT required.

Answer #7

Just go when you can, when you have time if it is really bothering you that much. I usually pray before I eat, before I go to bed, and in the mornings when I wake up. But I don’t go to church.

Its okay to not go, God will understand. :)

Answer #8

of course you can still be a christian w/o going to church. church just teaches you more stuff about the bible and christ. as long as you believe w/ all of your heart that jesus died on the cross for you to wash away all of your sins. your in good shape :) dont worry

Answer #9

God gives us choice. So you can chose what you want BUT when you have God in your heart you should want to go to church. you should want to please God and grow with him. but like I said God gives you the choice.

Answer #10

Answer #11

captainassassin…get your facts straight! If you CHOOSE not to attend prayer @ church, it IS sort of a sin. I mean…you don’t go straight to Hell or anything obviously…but still. Say you once went to church every weekend or whatever, and just said one day that you really just didn’t feel like it anymore. well, whatever. Anyway, I guess what it all comes down to is that God understands, and it all depends on the situation you’re in.

BTW, captainassassin…take a good look @ the LAST part of what I posted before. THAT was my point to begin with! Not whether choosing not to attend church was a sin or not. I wasn’t really thinking straight anyway…no comment <3

You don’t ‘have’ to go to church - that along with good deeds, nice person, etc will not get you to Heaven - the only WAY is by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart - the ONLY way - to give your life to Jesus - Admit you are a sinner and need forgiveness - Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave - Through prayer, confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and commit to live for Him for the rest of your life - there’s an example on my profile page of a prayer - the prayer won’t save you alone, you have to open your heart to recieve - As far as going to church, if you’re saved certainly you have that desire - you want your spirit fed and this greatly helps you grow as a Christian - but again, the basic question: do you have to go to church - no - just like you don’t have to be there to be saved, pray, praise, and read your Bible - can be anywhere…I hope this helps you !!
