Boyfriend help

Ok so im 18 and have been dating this younger guy on and off for over a year now and I really do love himits just some of the stupid stuff he does.. I tried talking to him but I dont know what to say... and now this older guy that seems really nice and we talk all the time and lives like 25 35 min away wants to meet up how do I put this past the current boyfriend with out him flipping?? Help!!!
