Baby trouble

Asked by fau 11 days ago, 4 answers.

My 17 year old cousin just found out she was pregnent and im am really happy for her but in a way im not. Shes very immature im more mature then she is and im younger then her. She cant handle pain. She cried when she got her ears pierced. Theres no father in the picture and I know me and her both know what its like to grow up with out a dad. She doesnt have a job and she doesnt do good in school. Shes not really sure who the dad is either. Rite now the only people who are there for her are me her 3 sisters and her mom and her mom isnt a good influance at all. She wants to keep that baby and I know its her decision. I dont belive in abortions but do you think it would be wrong to try and talk her into giving this baby up for adoption?

Wow. Well, for a seventeen year old, I'd say that adoption would be really hard for her. She has NINE month's with this baby growing inside of her, and then when it comes out, she has to give it away and not even be able to see it again? Depending on what kind of adoption she may or may not make.

I don't believe in abortions either, but you never know, if she end's up having this baby, that involves a lot of responsibilities, commitment and maturity. It may change her for the better.

Right now, I think that all she need's is support.

Yeah, I think she just need you support. And the baby might make her more mature.

Once the baby comes it won't care if the mom is ready for it or not. Babies need constant attention, and there are no buts. Either way, it's her baby and it's up to her what she'll do with it. If she wants to keep it and she doesn't know what to do, then she should be able to count on you guys to help her out. Who knows, maybe this baby is going to change her- in a positive way.
Best of luck to all of you!!
