Are hip peircings gross?

They are NOT gross I pierced mine around a month ago and I love it. I just got one because everyone I know got two done and I wanted to be quirky and assymetrical

Although they are very good looking piercings (in my opinion anyway) be careful with jeans because, from experience, they aggravate the area very badly. You have to accept the fact that it may migrate our that your body may reject it.

Think carefully before you get it done because you WILL get a scar when you take it off (if you decide to take it off eventually). I did my hip anyway because I’m prepared to live with the scar. But some people aren’t.

btw, make sure you clean it 3 times daily with salt and water and sterile compresses and NOT cotton wool. Cotton buds are ok but compresses are better. =]

My piercings I get done for me. So think your the one getting it threw your body. Personally I think mine kick bootay. But I agree disturbedangel think carefully before you do it and make sure you find a piercer that has experience with surface piercings. That and you will have a scar when you take them out. :) I dont mind but just go back and read disturbedangel I dont mind the scars others might. Follow aftercare to a tea. There is no garantee (sp?) with any surface piercing.

I love hip piercings. lol. I rreally want mine done. and the back of my neck, like three bars lined up on the vertabrae.
