uk is 999, which incidentally, on the old fashioned dial phones was a NIGHTMARE to call, be like - oh no emergency, pick up phone and 12345678..9...(WAIT while dial turns back) 12345678 9...again wait while dial turns back...12345678 9...wait while dial turn back.

then it's bl00dy 'hello which service do you requre, I mean WTH! it's taken 10 minutes to dial you and now you have to dial the damn police (in addition, the burglars outside the door, I can't talk in case he hears me) and operator hangs up!!! DAMN!!!
