How to ask great questions.

First: How To Ask a Question

Start by clicking the "Ask" button in the top navigation or by typing in your question body into the box on the home page as shown here:

Second: Better question titles equal better answers

Make sure you write a descriptive question title that contains the same essential message as the main body of your question.

If the title is something like "help" people will be far less likely to respond than if it says a detailed, 5-7 word description of what you really need assistance with. The last and most important required part about asking a question is to pick the right category. If the question gets put into the wrong category, it can take a lot longer to get a good answer.
