Will my dog die?
Well I was eating one of those snack pack chocolate fudge pudding things and I almost finished eating it and left about a teaspoon in there and went to get some water. When I came back I found my dog licking it out and I know how people say dogs are not to eat chocolate and it was a chocolate thing. About a day after he ate it, he is vomiting and wont eat his food. What do I do?? I love my dog so much and I don’t want him to die please help!
Call the vet as soon as possible. I hope your dog isn’t allergic to chocolate!
well my dog is like a human. she drinks coke, eats chocolate, and everything except onions… I don’t know why she doesnt like onions but she is fine. buy if your concerned about you dog then you should deffinately call the vet and talk to them about it.
probilly not
Tell your parents and take him to the vet.
Good luck!!!
as phrannie said, the amount taken will vary from the size of your dog but do tell your parents and go to the vet imediantly your dog probably wont be able to eat any more food, because it feels sick from the chocolate get to that vet asap!!
Yes…call the vet…you didn’t say how big your dog is…but the amount of chocolate it takes to poisen a dog, varies with the size of the dog… It may just be a coincidence…
phrannie
Tell your parents what happened and ask them to call the vet. Let them know this is important to you, you want to know that your dog will be okay.
Good Luck!
ok..dont freak out. My dog eats everything. toliet paper, toothpicks, foil, chocolate, and a lot of other things. He usually gets sick afterward. It usually means he is constipated. which is gross..but its not that serious. Just make sure your dog drinks a lot of water and make sure he goes to the bathroom. If he doesnt eat for awhile..or his symptoms get worse, then call the vet and explain the situation.
Depending on the size, your dog probs won’t die. He will stay sick 4 a bit, tho
Call your vet.
okayy. it takes a lot of chocolate to actually KILL a dog.
one time whenever my parents were at work and I was at school, my dog jumped up onto the table and ate a whole bowl of hersheys kisses. wrappers and all. she only weighs fourteen pounds and there was a lot of chocolate. but she is still breathing and in perfect condition.
im sure your dog will be fine. like bluedenimx3 said…its probably just constipated. make sure it drinks plenty of water!
