How to get those cute side bangs?

I’ve been to the salon many times to get my haircut. Everytime I ask to get short side swept bangs. They never turn out right. When I starighten my hair they go tooo flat and look like crap. I dont know what or how to do it right…

Answer #1

what amber said… also when blow drying your hair, use a big round brush for the bangs and just like when you’re straightening them, start of straight, then kinda curl the end around the brush…

Answer #2

when straighting them go from the top then when your at the end go out a tad like kinda curl in under it takes the shape of your face and keeps them there for a while Believe me I have them…!

To add to the advice already given- You kind of have to train your bangs to the side swept look. Just like you have to train your hair to a new part! Pull your bangs to the side you want them and pin them with a bobby pin for a week or two! After awhile your bangs will get used to falling to that side, and they will begin to look better!

Answer #5

straighten the rest of your hair then when it comes to your bangs blow dry them using a round brush or when your straightening them put the iron on low heat and use a round brush and then there soft and rounded and dont look like crap! GOOD LUCK! p.s. or tell your hairdresser to style them for you and give you tips

Answer #6

one thing to do is when you get out of the shower take the bangs and put them to the opposite side of where you straighten them and then blow dry them..when they are dry comb them to the other side…this usually works for me
