How can I become that kid that their parents love and never want to leave the house?

I’ve noticed that I do things after I am asked more than twice to do, when threaten. I also noticed that I help when I wanna help. I wanna be the child that has a her room clean and neat. Bed always made, does things the first time asked no hesitations, and even learn how to do more chores around the house. how can I accomplish that when I am a lazybug

Answer #1

You stop being lazy. As easy as that. Nothing comes for free and if you really want to be a perfect child then stop being lazy.

Answer #2

Oh no, there is no such thing as “perfect” in my world, I just want to make them happy, even though sometimes I WILL slack off. That’s natural for me. ( does that even make sense?!?)

Answer #3

I have to agree with Irene. If you want to change, that’s entirely your job. Laziness is a choice. You choose not to do things, it’s not like you can’t do them. So if you want to change that, make yourself get to doing those things. Force yourself to do it, even if you don’t feel like it. Motivate yourself. You can do it!

Answer #4

Nobody can tell you how you can become that kid YOU have to become that kid on your own.. if you want to change then change if you don’t want to then who’s going to make you.? no one.!

Answer #5

I put perfect in inverted commas to indicate that it isn’t realistic. Everyone slacks off sometimes, that sdoesn’t make you lazy.

Answer #6

I have to agree. Motivate yourself. Your goal is to be more loved by your parents you say. So keep that image of what you want in mind at all times. If somebody asks you to do something, just force yourself to get up and do it. If it is a hard/long chore, turn on the radio to a fast paced song and get to work! :)

Answer #7

Why on earth would any parent want their kid around forever? Seriously, that isn’t about becoming a kid like that, it’s about wanting a parent like that. And you don’t want a parent who cannot live their own life so they need their kid around forever. Thank your stars your parents aren’t that sad.

Answer #8

they should love you just for the fact that youre their child

Answer #9

do it the first time you are told to do something its kinda obvious :)
