no jaes your not funny, quite the opposite sadly. :/ to answer your question (which some people are obviously uncapable of doing) try a light diet 35 lbs is a lot but I thnk its totally possable. the 1st 10lbs are usually just water anyway. so what I am doing is counting calories. this doesnt meen that you have to cut things completely out of your diet; but that you shud just be careful of what you eat. tell her to ask herself b 4 she eats do I really want this? also try eating a granola bar and a tall glass of water b 4 each mea . about 20 minutes in advance; this shud curb her appetite. sitting down and having a meal is better than eating in the car. also cut all fast food out of the diet, and all sodas.

or just a also exercising each day is really going to help. an 30 min walk in the morning and the afternoon feels good also. try woking on the stomach area also. like doing 50 crunches in the day and 50 in the afternoon. I really hopt this helps!! :)

Whether it’s for you or your mom doesn’t matter. But it is very unlikely and unhealthy to try to lose that much weight in so short a time. She is much better off losing the weight slowly. That is not only healthier but also is more likely to allow her to keep it off. Have her check out the information below:

How to lose weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

You can not safely lose 35 pounds in a month. If she stopped eating completely (VERY DANGEROUS) but changed nothing else, the most she could hope to lose is about 1 pound every 2 days - or at most, around 15-20 pounds in a month.

Answer #6

um your “mom” just needs to go to the gym and take a morning jogg every day

Answer #7

hit yourself in the face with a frying pan, trust me she will feel much better ;) We all know its not HER that wants to lose weight but you, be honest.

Answer #8

these people are right, it’s not possible to lose 35 pounds within a month!! it all starts with planning a diet and exercise schedual that you CAN follow! - and being able to stick to it! if your mum really thinks that she’s over weight, than her doctor would’ve probably told her, and gave her suggestions on how to lose weight effecivly and safly! - other than that, it’s too risky to go and try to lose 35 pounds all by herself within a month! just try eating a better diet (eating lean meat, organic foods, whole wheat bread, low fat/skim milk…ect), making sure you cut out all the junk, and at least exersise twice a day for 45-60mins!

Answer #9

I actually think JAES is right.. cause people get criticised for asking such questions about weight loss, they decide to turn it around and say its somebody else who wannts to lose the weight… clearly your mum should be old enough and wise enough to know she needs to exercise and eat right.. but 35 pounds of fat wont be lost in a month safetly.. I lose 16lbs in a month before, but it was mostly water weight.
